Today Premier Dr. Zamani Saul together with the MEC responsible for Health, Mr. Maruping Lekwene officially opened the Heuningvlei Community Health Care Centre which is set to benefit about 4 000 community members from Heuningvlei, Shalaneng, Makhubung, Gamagou, Gatsejwane, Lokaleng as well as the surrounding farming areas. 
Premier in his input thanked all stakeholders who were involved in ensuring the succesful completion of the Project. Government calls on the community members to safeguard this facility. 
The facility has six (6) consulting rooms, a maternity unit, an Emergency Medical Services unit, and staff accommodation facility. This centre will provide amongst others Curative Services, Chronic Services, Prevention Services, Antenatal Care & Emergency Deliveries, as well as Child Health and Mental Health services amongst others
