Requirements: A relevant 3-year degree/diploma in ICT and 2 years ICT experience or Matric with a minimum of 5 years working experience in desktop support and in installations (PC, server, switches, etc.). Sound knowledge of network and administration support. Good verbal communication skills. A driver’s license is a prerequisite.

Duties:
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
Provide second tier support to end users.
Configure and troubleshoot computers, laptops and printers.
Periodic auditing of IT equipment, Anti-virus management at desktop level, set-up e-mail accounts and user training.
Maintain links to clients/users to resolve queries.
Assist in planning and monitoring utilization and capacity for current and proposed
installation, including changes, by performing defined tasks
Assist in investigation, diagnosing and resolving incidents/problems as directed.
Conduct tests of the hardware and/or software affected using supplied test procedures and diagnostic tools.
Correct malfunctions, calling on other experience colleagues and external resources
if required.  Provide basic advice and guidance on individual project proposals and plans.
Make useful contributions to technical “brainstorming” sessions.
